Guys please, this thread has been done to death! Overrated, underrated, overrated currently, underrated currently, in history, any way you can think of it. I guess that's what the forum is all about. Arguments in circles

I honestly don't know why anyone rates Johnson or Tarver, they're just 2 B level fighters sitting on top of a ****ty division. Clinton Woods gave Johnson 2 tough fights and he's only a good European level fighter and Sheika beat him f.f.sake. Only Hopkins with his ring smarts and talent would give JC any sort of difficulty. He's way too quick and skilled for those 2 and his strength would eventually tell on Nard.

I don't think JC hits any harder than Tarver so I don't see his power affecting Johnsons chin. I think Tarver would stop JC because he's a lanky good counter puncher. I think even Antwun Echols would give JC hell if they fought. If JC decides to fight Jeff Lacy, he'll get KO'ed.

I agree that he'd win UD against Johnson but volume of punches may eventually put him away. Echols would be a fight I'd like to see but your Jeff Lacy comment's gonna keep me chuckling all day...JC's got a great chin and would totally school Lacy and put him to sleep at this point in time, the boy's way too green. Calzaghe's a lanky southpaw counter puncher too and he's a lot faster than Tarver and has more allround skills.

Calzaghe's chin is suspect though. If JC & Lacy fought, I could see JC jumping out to an early lead sort of like Syd Vanderpool did & getting caught with something big from Lacy mid-way through. JC has been down a few times from alot lesser punchers.

                Kostya Tszyu.

Keep in mind I was a big KT fan but he has lacked a lot of activity grown more arrogant, he came back beat a scared Sharmba Mitchell and all of a sudden he is back and top 3 or 4 in many people's p4p list?

Not to mention he has been using that phrase that irritates me which basically means he isnt gonna fight any up and coming threats that he think can beat him, "I just want to fight big fights"

While fighters like Morales, Pacquiao, Barrera, Castillo keep fighting top ranked fighters one after another they all get ranked below him.

He's been down twice in his career, never looked hurt and got up to win comfortably. Hopkins was down twice in 1 fight against KO specialist Mercado so does he have a suspect chin too? JC's walked through bigger punchers than Lacy. The guy's not even close to being able to beat Calzaghe yet when he's still struggling to beat guys like Sheika and Vanderpool. The power that he has won't get him out of trouble with the big boys.
