Why ain't Cotto huggers moaning about him facing a smaller man at a catchweight?

Hahaha, but he hasn't really been tested so what do those fights really mean in the grand scheme of things~. Next to nothing~, good wins sure but going forward they really don't mean much on how fights will play out~.Comment

they were 2 great wins.
i'm talking about how he carried the weight.
juan diaz would never have been able to that good against the jmm at 126-130 imo.
though it could just be age catching up with him. who knows?Comment

?
you have bad reading comprehension , dude.
even with jmm i said i wasn't looking at the quality of the win as much as how he looked carrying the weight.
same case i was making for pac. how he looked carrying the weight not the quality of the win.Comment

Look if Pacman fought a live body or atleast a skilled world class fighter in any of those fights maybe I would listen to your point. It remains that none of the guys he fought at 135 140 or 147 were all that live (Oscar) or all that skilled (Hatton and Diaz).
If guys let you do what you want, it really doesn't matter the size difference. If the guys really put up a fight you might have a point but none of them did so the questions remain the same.
No it is not Manny's fault that none of the guys were up to snuff, but can not really put to much stock in those wins in deciding how he is at those classes.Last edited by The Gambler1981; 07-21-2009, 05:59 PM.Comment
