Also forgot, there's an HBO special documentary covering a particular fight where horsehair was put in the gloves. Dunno the particulars about that, or if the fighter was in on it...but if so he should be even higher than (gag) margacheato. Then of course there's this other guy who put something even worse than plaster in his gloves and was banned from boxing along with his trainer. The trainer is still making a living somewhere in Mexico I think? Not sure, but I am pretty certain that the guy with the horse hair and the guy I just mentioned are separate.

You're referring to when "Irish" Billy Collins went up against a guy named Luis Resto. Resto's trainer, Panama Jack, (Gimme the bottle, no no the one I mix! lol) not only used plaster of paris on Resto's wraps, but he also removed all the original padding from the glove. This resulted in a fight Billy should've won, at the end of the fight he looked grotesque...Resto went up to Collins dad to shake his hand and pops grabbed the glove, noticing a problem.

Six months later Collins, who would never fight again, permanently blind and an alcoholic, died in a car wreck.
