A few dishonorable mentions go to Margs, Cotto, and Floyd. Not quite dirty enough to make the top 5 but each have their own rules within the rules they fight by.

I dunno about that...anybody who loads his gloves, rockets straight to the top of my **** list. Floyd and his elbows, I rate at around 8th, maybe 10th. Casamayor is probably the most consistently dirty fighter I can think of, that puts him in the top 3 for sure. Then we have the Foul Pole, Mike "Eat'em all up" Tyson.

Too many billy goats out there to mention, but one of the most notorious was Holyfield, especially since it never even looked like he was doing it intentionally, but almost had to be (still one of my favorites, though).

I can see where you're coming from but I don't think Cotto meant to hit Judah below the belt and I do think Judah embellished a bit. margacheato should be number 1 because he was proven to attempt what could have been considered a criminal assault. Floyd...I have seen a lot of his fights and I just don't see where he has fought in a classless way. In point of fact, it was Judah who deliberately punched Mayweather in the sack...so Judah should be the one getting honorable mention.

Well Peter is the universal #1 because he trys to leverage every shot behind the head and neck of opponents. It's lucky he doesn't have good technique or he'd have killed someone by now.

Cotto strays low on occasion but he's no where near as bad as the top 5 I listed.

Also forgot, there's an HBO special documentary covering a particular fight where horsehair was put in the gloves. Dunno the particulars about that, or if the fighter was in on it...but if so he should be even higher than (gag) margacheato. Then of course there's this other guy who put something even worse than plaster in his gloves and was banned from boxing along with his trainer. The trainer is still making a living somewhere in Mexico I think? Not sure, but I am pretty certain that the guy with the horse hair and the guy I just mentioned are separate.
