Hey mangler. It probably is old, but I've been hard on Hatton previously and this post is in relation to the just confirmed catchweight fight between Pac, who is now the 140 lineal champ and Cotto, the 147 champ. If Ricky fought PBF at 147, why can't Pac do the same with Cotto. Doesn't make sense.

Still, gonna watch though and will be rooting for the Pacman.

Hatton was never known for ducking anyone. You could make a case for Witter, but I think Hatton just thought that he was too big (stardom wise) for Witter, which I thought was a bit "snooty", if that is the right term, considering he was a bit overhyped.

Hatton just turned me off after watching him talk about himself too much, pre, during and after his fight with PBF. I really think he believed the hype that surrounded him.

But for sure, Hatton took on everyone.

True but if you start believing your own hype, "hype" being the keyword, then in a sport like boxing you are likely to get badly hurt. It almost happened to him. Overconfidence may get you embarassed once in awhile, but being delusional could get you killed.
