Did a little bit of research, yeah benn was right at the end of his career against collins, but i dont see any reason why eubank wasnt still at the top of his. As for ducking calzaghe, i just dont see it. Calzaghe was just climbing up at that point and collins was right at the end of his career looking for big fights against big names (jones mainly), calzaghe would do nothing for collins at this stage. If fact there is a quote from him saying that calzaghe couldnt even fill a church hall. We have seen this kind of scenario before, the older guy looking for big names before retiring being called out by the up and coming fighter, it happens all the time
Not saying that collins would have beaten calzaghe, but i just dont see how he ducked him and at the same time looking for jones who was a monster at that time

Munroe beat Martinez twice.
What did Dunne do after Martinez absolutely killed him in 1 round? He fought a few bums then got a lucky shot at the title.
Even the overrated Cordoba dropped Dunne twice in the 5th.
Thank God it was in Ireland or the ref might have stepped in.Comment
