Don't get your hopes up for Hopkins to fight more than 3 more times, one of them being his Eastman fight.
Exactly, how i see it and you cant blame him, wants to go out with money. i would bet 100% that he goes out fighting tito cuz thats where the moneys at. I would like to see him fight roy jones before johnson. hopefully he tried to avenge his loss so that he will lose again.

Provided Jones gets hungry about Hopkins coming to 175, Jones could take a few tune ups (provided he gets on the ball) and have Hopkins fight Johnson and then a few months later fight Roy....Ahh that would be sweet and TITO needs Bernard than Hopkins needs him. So Hopkins has options.

But also Johnson would have to get on the ball and fight Tarver and if Tarver derails Johnson than Hopkins plans sours overnight and in that case, Hopkins doesnt have much options.

Bernard stated their would be no catch weight or anything like that he would move up to 175 and give Johnson a fair shake.

But Bernard also stated that after Eastman he will have 2 major ppv fights back to back before the year is up. I would favor a Tito and then Johnson fight, or vice versa. If Hopkins calls out retirement and actually follows through then a fight with Tito could be easily made, Hopkins doesnt want Tito now due to King getting options and their court settlement BUT if Hopkins retires King cant hold any options on Hopkins what so ever. So after Eastman a fight with Johnson and then a move to fight Tito would be an awesome way to end his career and not have King involved.

With speculation that Tito will go to 168, provided Hopkins goes to 175 they could fight at 168 and weight wouldnt be an issue.
Why would he go up in weight and come back down? Everyone knows that killed RJJ so I doubt Hopkins would be dumb enough to try that. He'd fight Tito at 160 or 168 and, if he wins, then he would fight Johnson/Tarver at 175 to finish his career. Seems like the smart thing to do.

Well I also said that it would probably be at a catch weight since Tito is moving up.

The weight loss for Roy didnt effect him old age did.

Don't think the handlers of Taylor is ready to take the risk of facing Hopkins. Bernard is able to destroy fighters, even if he doesn't knock them out. Many good fighters have been ruined by good old B-Hop, so Taylor is probobly best off staying away, at least for another year.

The same goes for Hopkins, I think he figures that Taylor is too big a risk for the money (or lack of it) he will recieve.

doesnt tarver get johnson next so after eastman if he wins its gotta be the winner of winky/tito then the winner of johnson/tarver thats probally the most logical route for hopkins and most likly will happen

Tarver would kill Bernard at 175. I realize Bernard is an extraordinady boxer and all but I believe Tarver would be to big of a man.

This is provided that he gets by Eastman and I truly believe he wont.

I would give him a viable chance at Johnson, but the key to beating Hopkins is to go right inside and Johnson would do that.

Calzaghe would be risky for Bernard, Hopkins shouldnt move up.
