    Taylor VS Hopkins

know some people are saying Hopkins is slipping a little bit and Taylor seems to be improving. After his bout with edouard i think he should fight sterum and then fight Hopkins. I personally think he has a fair shot at beating bhop because he is naturally bigger and stronger. What do u all think.

Lets not put the horse before the buggy. There is no gurantee that Taylor will get by Edouard and obviously if he does he will be in posistion to challenge for the title. And there is no gurantee that Hopkins will get by Eastman. Now obviously it is logical to assume they both will get by and be in posistion to theoritically fight each other.

However Hopkins has expressed interest in fighting Johnson so I think that a fight with Taylor may be the last in Hopkins career. Or B-Hop could fight Tito again, either way he'll go out with a ****.

By the way, Hopkins works over Taylor if they did fight.Hopkins by lopsided UD or late round TKO.

              To young to soon.

Taylor isnt ready he hasnt been in any kind of fight that really has put a hard test on him.

Taylor shouldnt fight Hopkins at all, he is to green. In all actuality it would be best for Taylor to either take some real hard fights and then fight Hopkins to do a passing of the torch or just pass Hopkins by. Neither fighter has interest in fighting one another really.

IF Eastman gets by Hopkins, I could totally see Taylor jumping the gun to that and I would favor Taylor over Eastman.

Hopkins won't fight Taylor nor Sturm. Hopkins is looking for $$$, and nothing else. Once he gets past Eastman (if he does) he will only fight the winner of Tito/Winky or Johnson (if he gets past Tarver) and then retire. I'm telling you that's how it is.

Don't get your hopes up for Hopkins to fight more than 3 more times, one of them being his Eastman fight.

I bet if Taylor gets a loss on his record he'll start calling out Hopkins..
                  He'll have nothing to lose.

Hopkins just stated in an interview that he will defend his title against Eastman and provided he wins, he will target Johnson and MEET Johnson at 175 to challenge him for the LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT crown. Bernard stated their would be no catch weight or anything like that he would move up to 175 and give Johnson a fair shake.

But Bernard also stated that after Eastman he will have 2 major ppv fights back to back before the year is up. I would favor a Tito and then Johnson fight, or vice versa. If Hopkins calls out retirement and actually follows through then a fight with Tito could be easily made, Hopkins doesnt want Tito now due to King getting options and their court settlement BUT if Hopkins retires King cant hold any options on Hopkins what so ever. So after Eastman a fight with Johnson and then a move to fight Tito would be an awesome way to end his career and not have King involved.

With speculation that Tito will go to 168, provided Hopkins goes to 175 they could fight at 168 and weight wouldnt be an issue.
