i like both guys and know they are both capable of winning the fight...
but i dont think cotto will k.o manny.
mannys speed and movement will be enough to get him through and he will win on decision.

I smell blood, Pinoy blood.
I just got 1 question. Who's gonna push Pac's wheelchair after Cotto is done with him? Freddie sure can't.

you guys are overating cotto quite a bit. he hasnt been scintilating against the elite level has he. he has looked less than stellar, now he will demolish a fighter that is in his peak ant getting better. pac will outspeed and outwork cotto.

Cotto takes him out in round 8 or 9, Cotto is just too powerful. Hopefully this will set up the mega mega bout vs Mayweather.

it's not like Miguel Cotto and his team are the ones making the fight at 145
so why is/should Cotto's size be such an issue, if it's the other camp that's making the fight under the welterweight limit of 147.
**yes I know this has been discussed already anything in the range of 141-147 equals Welterweight .. but im specifically mentioning under 147, because 147 is the max you can weigh in at Welter.
so back to the original point I was making.
Cotto is the bigger man, and will most likely weigh more by fight night, so why is Cotto "being bigger" such a big issue according to you?
as will the winner of the fight (Pac-Cotto) come down to who's heavier?
because your making it seem like Cotto's obviously bigger, so he should win. And Freddie Roach is probably a large reason why the fight is at 145, oppose to straight up Welter (max of 147)
so is weight such a big issue regarding the fight?

A lot of you guys are forgetting something...Cotto can box.
He's proven he adapts well to speed fighters and he himself isn't no slouch in the speed dept. Pacquiao isn't an elusive fighter like Floyd as far as defending yourself. He moves in and out, but when he exchanges, Pac's there to be hit. Is Pacquiao going to take a flush left hook from Cotto and be able to keep walking? That's the question that has to be answered.
Cotto's been in wars with guys like Mosley, Margarito, and recently Clottey, so though Pacquiao hits hard I believe Cotto will take his shots well. Pac's gotta use a lot of different angles. I think Cotto's jab can catch Pac if Pac comes straight forward.
It's really an exciting fight that I can say either guy can win. Right now...Im leaning towards Cotto just because im a bigger fan of his, but seeing Pacquiao win would be great for me just being a fan of the sport.

I dunno. Could go either way. Love both fighters, hope they both come in at %100 and there aren't any headbutts. May the better fighter win.
