Well, I agree that we do have idiots but for the most part we have great fans, some of the most dedicated. I think a lot of the people that act like idiots here are just alts, trying to mess things up.

Whenever I talk to a MMA fan they usually are just loud, unruly people, that really don't know anything about their sport. If you are talking to boxing fans you realize that most of them truly love boxing and are very educated about the sport. I know we have been around longer, have a great history and all that, but boxing fans really know their sport maybe more so than any other sport out there. We are def. not Polo crowd where we cross our legs and sip on mint juleps but we are a more reserved crowd that respect the sport and the fighters for the most part.

and his beer metaphors; geezus H christ....probably THE biggest endorsers of the sweet science are beer companies...good job floyd...way to make them feel like their support and crowd is appreciated

Boxing is for people that drink fine, pricey liquors. I think Floyd was talking about MMA fans being trashy, young punks, that don't have any morals which a good portion that does fit. Boxing is an intelligent sport, that is still for gentlemen, something you can still take a classy girl to go see. If you have been to or seen the crowds for MMA/UFC compared to big time boxing you can tell the difference between the kind of people it attracts.

i totally agree with your points check...all im sayin is floyd shouldnt be using the 'dana white route' of slandering another sport to 'up' your own....especially if you dont know how to play that game properly...he makes himself look ****** and creates a false conception that the boxing crowd is the same way

I'm not going to defend floyd on everything you said about him because I'm not one of those fans,I'm just stating what he was said about the beer comment was simple, a compliment to boxing and accurate.

UUUmmmm broke lesnar just disrespected a beer company on live pay per view and he is the face of ufc while I'm sure you don't consider floyd the face of boxing so direct that geezus H christ to him..
