This isn't about Cotto, but if you're gonna say that notice that Cotto has fought outside of "his comfort zone" when he fought Margarito in Las Vegas, and will fight Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas, if it's anyone not fighting out of his confort zone it's Manny Pacquiao since almost all his fights have been in the west coast (Las Vegas and California), Texas and the Phillipines, your argument about that being the cause of his global attraction fails.

But the point is that he did go over there to fight Margo. The reason why some of his big fights are at MSG is a business decision; he will sell that place out and it will be a bigger event if tied to the PR parade.

Lets not start to hate on Cotto, he is a true champion that takes on the toughest opponents, defeats them, and maintains his professionalism as a boxer. What Juanma is doing right now is not how Cotto has built his career.. true boxing fans know that.

You guys need to understand that the fight will happen on Oct 10th at MSG, NYC. This is a publicity stunt to gather interest in the latino community to fill up the MSG. Gamboa will fight in the undercard, maybe against Luveano. That will make an argument to sell out the MSG.

Caballero has not fight in the US during his last 5 fights. Only hardcore fans know the poor bastard. Caballero can't fill up a place anywhere in the US, maybe a highschool basketball gym.

I'll bet that Gamboa could go on to lose his very next fight and Arum would still make a Lopez-Gamboa match up. That's how greedy Arum is. That fight isn't going to sell any better than a fight with Lopez and Caballero unless I'm really missing something. And I got my stuff straight about who the WBA 126 lb full champ is. It's Chris John. Eli Rojas is the WBC champ. And I guess that is who Arum is trying to match Gamboa up with. Am I right about that? Someone fill me in.

I hope you are right and I'm starting to believe the same thing. As soon as Arum comes back from his vacation we'll see. I see no way that Juanma can avoid Celestino. The funny thing is that Celestino has absolutely no chance with Juanma. Actually, he does have a puncher's chance but thats it. Juanma TKO in round 8 is my bet. And we'll see what the haters will say after that.
