Both Goosen and Arum are the reasons why a Pavlik-Williams fight isn't happening it looks like. That is one fight I can't accuse Pavlik of ducking. The challenger should be willing to take less than an even split. I think it should be close though like maybe 60-40 for Pavlik, because Williams is a quality opponent, and Pavlik's stock has dropped big time.

Wasn't their opening offer 50-50 before Pavlik lost to Hopkins, back when his stock was still sky high? Back when Williams was still stinging from the loss to Quintana and before winning a title at 154 and then smoking Wright?

Winky doesn't make sense at this point, I don't think Sturm would fight him, he won't get any credit for beating Martinez and Pavlik has looked like crap both times he ventured north of MW. Williams makes the most sense at this point. Take 50-50, just make it happen.

All I know Pavlik better fight someone soon. Not only does it seem he is having confidence issues, but being rusty on top of it certainly is not going to help.

I don't see the fight going that way at all. Pavlik might stop Winky in the fight, but to that point the match will be competitive. I expect a decision and a close one at that.
