That is the difference Lewis wasn't being babied to a title status, he had some set backs and avenged his losses in a memorable fashion. Prescott is a fighter of limited skill who Kahn should be able to outpoint with ease. That is unless his chin doesn't hold up and if it doesn't and can't then he is not capable of great things in the sport.

Only from a personal standpoint, as in, I can imagine why Khan would want to fight him.

Unfortunately, however, Prescott looks to be ****.

He chinned Khan in spectacular fashion, but he is still crude and ordinary. And this isn't the playground or 'the street', what is Khan fighting for street cred? lollerblades.

So no, he doesn't need to fight Prescott, at all. Unless Prescott can beat anybody who isn't Amir and put himself on a higher plane.

          He does seem very ordinary.

You'd think he'd use his frame to full effect, the only jab I've seen him throw is the one he wrecked Khan with before taking him out.

Prescott has a very very low Boxing I.Q from what I've seen. It is an embarrassing loss for Amir, imo.

Prescott needs to move up and chase Khan then. Khan is not going to be moving back down to 135, so if this fight ever happens, Prescott will need to move up or wait until Maidana knocks out Khan and chases Khan back down to 135. I will give Khan a boxers chance but if he gets hit with just one of BP's shots, it will be lights out all over again. People tend to forgett that Prescotts last two opponents were very unorthodoxed fighters and these kind of fighters can cause problems and frustrate even the best.

The funny thing is, only the Amir Khan haters still reflect upon that fight. He has bigger and better things to achieve now. Being knocked out in that fight may have been one of the best things that has happened to him in his early career.

Or it may be what we look back on as the first sign of trouble in what could be come a maybe problem in his career. But we cant tell which it is yet, well half to watch his career unfold to get a definite answer but as for now he closer to 1 punch kos than average.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat are you blabbering on about? :laff2:

                  Pac's KO losses were 14 and 10 years ago. Khan's was 10 months ago. THAT'S a point.

Do you realise how idiotic you're sounding? You're either baiting, having a laff, or you're serious. It can't be the latter... can it?

No more than pacman should have rematched the 2 guys that KHTFO. If you aint just being mischievous then you need to learn a bit more about boxing.

A rematch is now totally pointless other than some ridiculous macho thing about 'avenging' the loss. Prescott now brings nothing else to the table and other fighters bring more money, more prestige AND have a much better claim to fight for the belt.
such bull****. if you get ktfo in the first 20 seconds of a bout and lose your 0 you should wanna erase that in the public's mind. khan's a hypejob but he's young, we'll see what roach can do. Warren knows better than to put him in the ring with that animal who just lost on FNF, Prescott, again. I'm glad he got knocked out and then went with Roach, that way us Americans can always claim that our American trainer 'fixed' your flawed British fighter, in the rare case scenario that he makes over two successful title defenses in a linear weight class (ie not jr, light, or super) (he wont)
