that is why Manny Pacquiao is the P4P and alot people feel is the fighter of the decade.

Amir Khan is getting so much hate because he got so much hype and got exposed. And also people who watches UFC hates Brock Lesnar with a passion. They also boo a fighter who has a smart game plan and didnt fight an exciting fight because of the opponent, but yet Anderson Silva got all the boo and criticism even though the guy he fought stayed at his back like a ***** because he was too scared of silva striking. MMA fans, like boxing fans, also hates hyped up overrated fighters who didnt dedicate themselves in MMA like brock, kimbo slice.

It's like people are jealous that he holds a title.

Then they try to discredit his win by calling Kotelnik a Euro bum..

          Khan's hardly a protected fighter.

          Look at Pac.

If boxing was dying we wouldn't of had thousands flocking to this site and thousands on live streams for the fight. Khan is extremely popular, there will be haters and there will be lovers. Sport is doing fine.

You have Kessler in your avi.

Who was Mikkels 22nd opponent? Umm, Rodrigues Moungo 12-5.

Khan is doing pretty damn well.

Pac fought Barrera, Marquez twice, Morrles 2 times(the third time didnt count), Ricky Hatton(best at 140), and now cotto and he wants floyd. That is hardly from being protected.

If he follows Roach's tutelage like Paciauo did, he has true world level potential. Let's not kid ourselves, what he won last night was a bull**** title. Don't go get ahead of yourself and hype this guy up so much and then get let down when he gets Barrera'd. That's why he took the Barrera fight btw, he wanted to ruin the man who ruined his 'mooslim brahtha'...Imagine him in the ring right now with a fighter like Miguel Cotto though, it would be brutal. He is young, and just needs to keep feasting on Kotelnik caliber champs before he nuts up and goes after a killer liker Cotto.

The fact that you compare whether or not Boxing will sink or swim based on others opinion of Amir Khan lets me know you're a dumbass anyway. No idea why I responded to the thread to be honest.

How was it a bull**** title? He beat a very strong, world class opponent to win last night. He deserves the title of world champion.

But I agree, Khan needs to beat the Salita's, Mallignaggi's, Hatton's, Campbell's and the Diaz's of the world before he steps up to the real elite. No way is he ready to fight the likes Cotto, Margarito, Clottey, or Pacquaio yet. Not for another two years at least.
