He didn't get hit too much, which seems to be a bad thing in the eyes of the haters, but the times he did get tagged he took it pretty well.

You know what the difference is? Sparring.

I think pre-prescott khan was sparring with softies, he never really was taking big shots and that showed in his fights, I mean he was rocked by a prescott jab for crying out loud. Since joining with Freddie Roach, he spars with bigger & stronger guys and even manny pacquiao. This helps tremendously in toughing up your chin. You get hit and eat big punches in sparring by bigger guys, by fight night the punches aren't going to feel as hard.

I'm not saying he all of a sudden has a halger chin or went get KTFO again, but clearly theres been improvement, and that's all Khan can do.

And by the way, I'm not a Khan fan by any means and I ROFL when he got KO'd, I'm just being real - the guy looks much better and he boxed beautifully tonight.
Anyone that has ever fought knows this is bull****. A punch hurts just as much the 1st time as it does the 2nd or the 3rd or the 4th or the 100th... getting hit more doesn't make it hurt less...

so you're saying if you train and spar with softies and have guys go easy on you, versus sparring bigger and stronger guys, the latter wont prepare you better for the fight?

            Simple logic.

                  From 1-10, a 5, which is a 5 point increase.
