I can tell you, he was blanking out on the clean shots Kotelnik put on him. When Kotelnik dropped a hammer on Khan while Khan was in the middle of his flurry. Khan's body froze up for a second. If you were trained, you can see these small details.

That's why I think if Kotelnik would have picked up on what Khan was doing, and would have just gone into a slugfest with Khan. He would have KO'd him. Khan kept blanking out, getting stiffed whenever he would get hit with something hard. Then right after he would raise his right hand high in the guard and close to his face.

Khan's chin is still trash. Kotelnik just couldn't exploit the fact that Khan can't take a hard punch because he kept backing up whenver Khan would go on a flurry.

Agreed. People saying Khan's chin has improved are delusional. This guy was floored by Limond and Gomez and then nearly killed (literally) by some bum from Columbia.

i aint seen khan take soo many punches in my life, i was shocked... even though i knew the weight would make him stronger, i wasnt expecting it.. i was on the edge of my seat waiting for one of them big hooks to land, and then it did, a few of them, shots that would have definitely knocked him out at 135....... id rate his chin suspect!! from china to suspect...

wait untill hes had a couple of fights at 140... he could turn out to have a solid chin

You know what the difference is? Sparring.

I think pre-prescott khan was sparring with softies, he never really was taking big shots and that showed in his fights, I mean he was rocked by a prescott jab for crying out loud. Since joining with Freddie Roach, he spars with bigger & stronger guys and even manny pacquiao. This helps tremendously in toughing up your chin. You get hit and eat big punches in sparring by bigger guys, by fight night the punches aren't going to feel as hard.

I'm not saying he all of a sudden has a halger chin or went get KTFO again, but clearly theres been improvement, and that's all Khan can do.

And by the way, I'm not a Khan fan by any means and I ROFL when he got KO'd, I'm just being real - the guy looks much better and he boxed beautifully tonight.
