How Many People Would Question....

I agree, the logic on these forums is strange.Kotelnik being a World class fighter tonight if he had beaten Khan?
No one would have, but the fact that Khan actually dominated Kotelnik and won a belt. People have to bring up Kotelnik's authenticity as a World class fighter.
Kotelnik is certainly not a European level fighter.
What defines World class in a division like LWW?
According to the Ring magazine, Kotelnik is a Top 5 fighter. Only Pacquiao, Witter and Bradley rank above him.
BoxRec rank him as 6th in the World.
Is it the fact that glass jawed Khan was, only a matter of months ago, obliterated by Prescott and here he is now as a World champion?
But hang on, in a completely different division. Under the tutelage of arguably the best trainer out there. He completely dominated Kotelnik with his workrate and forced Kotelnik to keep guard up at all times.Comment

It's hard to rate Klotenik and how good he really is, he was never KO, or more importantly clearly beaten before, tonight he was. Klotenik held wins over good opposition that's fact, he is a very good tough opponent but not elite imo.. but then again it depends how you define elite..
Outside of Pac no one is elite to me in that division, he is certainly one of the best at that weight tho and Khan beat him very clearly so props for that. IF you are basing what World class is on 140 right now outside of Pacman then yes imo Klotenik is World class and was one of the best fighters at that weight.Comment
