I think we'll see less and less of it as he's taught not to commit in order to protect his jaw

        Most definitely.

I have exactly the same impression, he was throwing sissy shots against Barrera just keeping him playing defence.

Not learning to fight inside and only having a long range game wont get you to far in this game, unless you are 6ft 5+.

Jermain Taylor is a good long range fighter but he cant fight for **** inside.

He has good power, but not 1 shot KO power, the sort that will destroy you over rounds (the fact hes accurate and fast just makes it worse) but getting him to be a counter puncher was just ******, khans a born pressure fighter at long range

Any boxer, good or bad, if they run into a punch, they will face the canvas, and depending on how hard the punch is, they may or may not get up again.
Khan was never famous for a good defense, he had his chin too high and his gloves too low. With that loss, he realized that there was something that needed correction, he had his fundamentals wrong as boxing is about hitting and avoiding getting hit. With Roach he has improved a lot.
In my opinion, you dont need to hire Roach to learn the fundamentals in boxing, any decent trainer should be able to teach you that, however Roach did more than that, he managed to improve Khan's speed as well that was already there in the first place, its even faster now.
The fight tonight should reflect these changes, especially the improved defense and speed as speed kills power.
Enjoy the fight regardless the outcome!

Yeah, ive always seen Khan as a fast offensive combination puncher who Boxes out of a Boxing style/stance.

              His game is about activity.

Well he game WAS about activity, im not sure what it is now.
