whats with this ridiculous statement? Marquez fights nothing like Mayweather. Mayweather fights on the back foot and "runs" while pot shotting. Marquez stands his ground and tries to hit you when you attack him (which is why he does well against Pacquiao, who constantly attacks). He usually strings together 4-5 punch combinations to do this. On top of that, Pacquiao has shown great improvement since the Marquez fight.

Marquez did outboxed him by losing twice. Marquez lost twice IMO so the results is what matters IMO. Floyd can outbox but he will lose if that is what you mean. If Judah gave Floyd problems and even knock him down, Pac will send him back to retirement.

i agree that pac improved a lot after the 2nd fight so it wouldnt be the same if pac and marquez will fight for the 3rd time. and i honestly think that marquez is a better boxer, fighter than floyd

this potshotting began when he started to scale the weight classes where bigger boys awaited him...

@ 130-135, he was pretty much more aggressive & was willing to trade...

i doubt PBF will take the "potshot" route against MP & JMM...

I watched Marquez Diaz and Marquez Pac II again the last few days. The way Marquez fires back with precision and avoids punches with parries and upperbody movement is a joy to behold.

I believe the Diaz fight was his best ever performace. Diaz brought it all that night and Marquez took it all - made the adjustments and wore his man down. INCREDIBLE.

ONE OF THE BEST EVER TO LACE ON THE GLOVES.

Mayweather can and probably will imo if they meet and im not a fan of his, but he is slicker more accurate/bigger and faster then Marquez. I don't believe him and Marquez share the same exact style tho they both like to counter punch thats about it..

Pacquiao has shown great improvement really? i don't want to sound like a hater but Diaz and Dela Hoya fights didn't show us much. Hatton fight showed us he has improved his right a bit or at least it also carries substantial power. Hatton is far far different from Floyd tho and wont be walking into shots with chin out like an idiot. If they meet i expect a wide UD for Floyd..

              Good question..
Nothing has changed in Pacquiao just he is more confident from going up in division and beating Diaz, De La Hoya and Hatton...

Am I missing anything significant here?

Because some fans and media think pacman is invincible. He is a very good boxer that beat alot of featherweights/lightweights.
