Where Were The CatchWeights When Floyd...?

was on top? People say that he was scared of this guy and that guy but the main reason was because he came into the ring at 147 while all these guys were between 160-170 pounds. I bet anything that he wouldve been fought Cotto & Mosley if they said that they would fight him at 140, 142, or even 145. However, we all know how the media wouldve ripped him and thats why he never asked for it. Yet, Pac gets away with it with no problem even though he was weighing 147 when he was fighting way back at 130. Its a joke.

PS- Why is Shane being an idiot and jumping straight to 140 when he already see's that the Cotto fight is probably off the table for Pac and Cotto was asking for 145? My point is that the Pac camp was already probably now thinking about Shane as there #1 option to fight at 142 or 143 and this idiot already volunteers to fight him at 140 before Pac even said NO to the other weights. I said the same thing about JMM. He said that he would come to WW to fight Floyd right from the jump, when Floyd may have actually fought him at 140 or 142 if he had never said that. Now the fight is at 144 and he is still halfway complaing. Watch the same thing happened to Shane. He volunteers and then when it gets signed, he'll start complaing about coming down to 140. Im kind of glad because I think the fight may get signed but will never come off because Mosley cant make weight and then Pac will just wait for Floyd since the JMM fight will be over or close to over at that time. Its funny how not too long ago Shane said that he will never fight at WW again because he cant make the weight no matter what he does and now he not only came down to WW but is going to try to go to 140? I dont get it

His next fight is at a catchweight.

Besides, it's not like Floyd fought any of the top welterweights. He fought Zab Judah and Carlos Baldimor. woop woop

Floyd is the best boxer in the sport, but with that said a 2 year layoff and his unwillingness to fight the so called best makes it easy for fight fans and haters to diss him. He is a financial genious considering all the money he makes for the risks he takes.

Shane is smart and desperate for money. If he can make 140 that I doubt and beat Pacman he will get Floyd. If he loses a decision he still makes bookoo $ and if he gets KTFO he will blame it on the goose...I mean the weight.

IF that's the case why doesn't he GTFO 147 or claiming he is the best there..? Since Dela Hoya he made Hatton come up to an uncomfortable weight for him and now he wont go to 140 for marquez.

IF Floyd is as small as people like you say (and i dont disagree he is a small WW) why wont he go down to face Marquez at 140 rather than 143/44 or whatever they are at? some claim its gonna be 147 even. It might actually give JJM/Floyd fight some credibility too..

IN summary if Floyd is too small for Welterweight he can stop saying he is the best there, he can also start fighting at 140 or whatever too.. rather then facing the likes of Marquez/Hatton were he has clear weight advantages.

Floyd was at welterweight for three years though.

Pac has gone up four weight classes in less than 2 years.

So it's unrealistic to demand Pac fight welterweights when first off he's not even a welterweight himself (Floyd was and is), and of course Pac just moved up to 140.

but hes the good guy and floyd is the bad guy,so different rules apply
plenty of people want mayweather too lose whereas they want manny too win

3 reasons why I think he doesnt come down for JMM. I talked about one of them already. JMM & Nacho were both idiots and basically volunteered to fight him at WW right from the jump. 2nd, Floyd had an interview a couple of years ago where he said when a fighter takes a long break, he will find it much harder to make the same weight when he comes right back. He said a guy may make a certain weight very easily but if he takes a long break and comes back then he will struggle super hard to make that same weight. 3rd and most importantly, I think he feels that he will still have some more fights at WW so I dont think he wants to come down to 140 and then try to go back to WW because then I think guys like Mosley or Cotto would be a shock to his system. Im actually not all that thrilled about him going down to 144 for that same reason. He's so small that if he's going to fight any at WW then Id rather him stay there instead of going down and trying to come back up, which will make him seem even smaller. On the flip side, maybe his retirment has finally helped him put on some real weight and he starts coming into the ring at 155 or so. If he does that then no one at WW can touch him. He'll still be the smallest one but he'll be able to easily compete at that size
