Cotto is diffrent he shouldnt be fighting at 143 or 140 u guys see him at 140 his last couple of fights?

The question is why PACMAN wants to fight these guys?

Because they are the biggest money fights left for Pac, obviously.

Also, Shane is the one trying VERY, VERY hard to get this fight. You don't see Pac acting like a desperate school nerd trying to get a date to Prom.

He wants to prove himself against a complete Welterweight..

Pac has proved himself as the best fighter in the game and an all time great, regardless of what happens from here on out. The welterweights, Cotto, Shane & Floyd are only even in consideration because they are money fights and because of popular demand (i.e the fans).

And keep in mind, PAC IS THE DRAW, he's the biggest/hottest name in the sport today. It's not pacs obligation to go up in weight if he doesn't want to (like he hasn't already enough!!), its the other way around. Like it or not thats how the sport works and has ALWAYS worked.

Why did so many people fight Oscar under HIS terms??? Because Oscar was the draw, he was the biggest name in boxing. People would practically kill themselves for a shot at Oscar because they knew they would get paid and receive more exposure than any other fighter.

Pac is that guy as of right now, like it or not. He's the pound 4 pound king, not cotto not mosley not even floyd anymore.

If pac were to beat these guys at welter, the unrealistic demand of him going up in weight would continue. ****, THE RING magazine already has an article about Pac vs Pavlik for crying out loud!!!

if mosley can't make 140 lbs healthy then he should not sign the contract. its just that simple.
