But remeber when he was at 154....he got to 147 and looked amazing when he shut out Collazo 12-0.

Shane has a good diet team..and conditiong...hell get to 140 fine.
True man but imo 147 is Shane's perfect weight class.

He may get to 140 fine im just worried how it will effect certain attributes, it could make him lose power, be slower etc.

These boxers have very low levels of fat in their bodies.. forcing a weigh loss mean messing with their muscular density

If Pac fights shane at 140 and wins, shane is drained.
If Pac declines to fight shane and fights cotto, Pac is ducking shane because he knows he would get schooled.

        lmao.

lose/lose situation for pac as far as this site is concerned.

            what do you think?
In Oscars case it was true.

And Cotto's also. Cotto moved up to 47' for obvious reasons. Trying to force him to dry out any lower is draining him and thus making him much less than 100%.

I'll give Him credit if Mosley is competitive at that weight, if its another Pac/Dela Hoya shut out no way!

The question is why PACMAN wants to fight these guys?
He wants to prove himself against a complete Welterweight..
If Shane goes down to 140 Pacquiao will be fighting a Light Welterweight

I thought that was logical and clear.. why is so complicated to many?

True, actually this whole 145 thing could be beneficial for Cotto's performance..
But going lower would crush him and besides they will fight for the belt which belongs to 145

If you go down to a weight you haven't fought at for a bit of time it can have a huge impact on your body, you gotta dehydrate to get there and sometimes put too much tension on your body trying to make weight and you don't rehydrate properly after the weigh-in... truth is the truth TS, not being funny.
