"Floyd Mayweather's shutout victory against Carlos Baldomir to win the world welterweight championship last Saturday night in Las Vegas generated 325,000 pay-per-view buys, HBO announced Friday."
Hatton was the draw and the only reason hatton did not draw more against manny was because hatton lost a few fans after he lost to captain elbow man.

Nothing new here. We all know Mayweather is not a draw.

        That is the difference.
No way not even people here in St.Louis would pay for Spinks on PPV. I wouldn't buy Oscar on his own either, he fights boring and isn't worth the money. DLH hasn't got me to ever spend one dime. I always paid for the other guywhen i did see him fight. Pacman Vs de La Hoya was a download won't buy either man's PPV. Floyd sells even if it is to people that want to see him lose, which has never happened thus the "0" rules and Floyd take 70% period.

Correction....Pac vs Diaz did 250k. which was good considering David Diaz was a complete unknown.

In that case Cotto can't draw outside of New York...

                      Mayweather did
                      325K against Baldomir
                      365K against Gatti
                      375K against Zab Judah
                      915K against Hatton
                      2.4m against DLH

They just don't want to admit he is a draw, not only that, the names I mentioned, except for Hatton/ DLH, aren't bigger names then EM, MAB and JMM.
