Naz had his first loss coming to him.

As soon as he sacked Ingle, it was obvious he was in the ring for the money.

      Boxing is a Mug's game.

he aint going to hang about and get hurt in the ring if he does not care about winning it.

He's made money, and he does not care about winning, so he never bothered with it.
The fact that he never really officially "retired" says it all.

Your obviously just dont like naz or your a barerra nuthugger,
anybody who seen a prime naz in action knows that he would of battered barerra,
he had no interest in the sport at that stage.
I thought a loss like that would off woken him up and got him back training hard but obviously not.
Soy our telling me he wasn't in his prime? HAhahahahaha wow, that's hillarious. You just contradicted yourself in the same paragraph. One minute your saying he was the overwhelming favorite and now your saying he was past his prime?

        Which one was it?

        Barrera = Hall of Famer

Princess Nazeem = Best "could have been" in the history of boxing.....well that title might actually go to Judah.

Naseem would've beat Barrera in his prime?

So many things wrong with this statement

so now he was past his prime?

i understand not being foused for the fight but past prime? come on

plus even if he did fight barrea in his prime it would had been the same thing over and over again.

i think when he lost too barrera he was humiliated, he was outclassed and i dont think he had the desire for a repeat performance, Barrera had Hammed figured out and Hammeds feeling of invincibilty was blown out of the water, he could no longer approach any fight with the same **** sure attitude and be taken seriously, once bitten twice shy.

Boxing prime has little relation to age.

                  Tyson is a key example.

His physical peak was Post-Prison. But his boxing skills were a joke when compared to how he was with Rooney.

You only need to watch Naz's earlier bouts and then compare them with his latter bouts to see how much he had changed.

He was a bookies favourite to win the fight!
Watch "little prince big fight" its states it on a few occasions!
No naz was not in his prime!
After he sacked ingle and started focusing more on the money side of things you could tell,
also if you watch that documentary you will see his terrible training and gettin trouble from sparring partners!
He fell out with Manny Steward about 3 weeks before the fight as he felt he didnt need to spar.
Naz was long past his prime he relied too much on his power to knock guys out,
even inbetween one of the last rounds in the barerra fight when all hope was lost and they felt he was well behind on points (when in fact he wasnt) you clearly hear steward saying "Your way behind on points, if this keeps goin the way its going your gonna loss your championship. All it takes is one shot you have got to go for the Knockout."
When infact from Round one that was Naz gameplan like most of his last fights he when in purely to knock the fighter out cause he was so up his own hole he felt no one could take it!

Too answer you again yes Naz was well past his prime,
the bookies had him favourite to win the fight as did alot of people.
But no one seen how bad his training was leading upto the fight!

                      Try again.
