I think Eastman will give Hopkins a run for his money, but fall short and lose by either Majority or Split Decision.

Another point I would like to throw in is that Eastman is one of the very few actual Middleweights that Hopkins has faced in a LONG time. Hopkins is usually fighting guys who come in at 156-160 and weigh-in around 163-165. I could easily see Eastman coming in at 160 and ballooning up to the low 170 mark, Physically Eastman will be stronger than a lot of Hopkins other victims.

Plus as posted earlier, Hopkins says at 40 he trains like he is 40 and he is slipping a bit.....Since when in the hell does Hopkin ever mention things like this? He even admitted his training is lacking for this fight, Dont get upset if Nard lost and Eastman beat Joppy's ass for the record and the knockdown in the last round was no flash one either, Eastman caught him with a pretty good punch.

Yeah,I said in a earlier thread that there's a good chance Eastman floors B-Hop in this fight for that same reason.I cant see Eastman knocking out Hopkins,so if it goes to the cards, the judges will screw it up in favor of Hopkins. It's a closer fight IMO,than alot of people think.

Define "chance". Certainly a better chance than De la Hoya did. Think back to the Echols challenges, and you'll have an idea for how I think of this fight...Not that Eastman and Echols are that similar, just that they have similar chances.

Eastman obviously isn't going to take out hop by way of KO...unless Hopkins all of a sudden throws defense out the window and eats several power shots. Eastman will have to outwork Hopkins by throwing many punches...that's where Bernards counter punching comes into play. By the end of the fight, Eastmans punches are going to look like slaps because of the punishment Hopkins will deal him. I like Eastman to be a very game fighter through 8 or 9 rounds...then Nard will take over. I'm thinking Nard 8 rounds to Eastmans 4. Spinks knows that he's just spewing trash. He actually laughs after every word he writes. He knows that Hopkins is going to beat up Eastman like this
