i think that vitali is better stylisticly for haye. haye has a better chance against vitali than wlad imo. but if haye whens then offcourse as usual he wont get any respect what so ever from the americans.

By no means would I ever count the big man out. He's the champ, after all. That title is around his ripped waist for a reason (one thing I admire greatly about the brothers is that they never fail to show up in great shape. Physique-wise, they're beasts!)

Basically I just think he's beatable, just about, if the opponent is able and hungry enough - the last ones to even come close were Lennox and Sanders, but they were both fat old men by that point. They gave it a damn good crack while they could.

Unlike others I've stopped ragging about his chin, considering it has been 3 years since he was last on the canvas, and 5 years since he was last stopped. His chin's fine, as long as he doesn't get drawn into an inside brawl. That jab prevents such a situation from occuring. Evidently that would be Steward's work since, prior to Brewster, Wlad seemed to enjoy a good scrap from time to time.

I will, however, continue to challenge anyone who claims that Haye is chinny. There are SO many arguments against that 'logic', it becomes incredibly boring to keep listing them all each time some other nadger-licker comes along and says "glass-chinned hypejob Haye who was sparked out by a blown up LHW!", etc. It's way too easy to dismiss such claims.

Cool. I'm more worried about the fight being cancelled than Haye losing, anyway. :laff2: As far as I'm concerned, I'll believe it when I see it - and that means both men in that ring, with the bell having rung. No turning back after that. Until then, Haye could just as well injure his back during the ringwalk or something... :wanker:

Thats funny but could also be true with the history of these guys getting injured. I just hope they stay healthy.

Your very wrong, i know that Haye is much easier for Vitali because of his aggressive style and his iron chin. Wlad could get knocked out at any moment. If Vitalis chin stood up to Sanders and Lewis bombs, and they landed atleast a handfull of knock out or knock down punches on him, then he will be able to take anything that over blown cruiserwieght has to offer.

Vitali will injure his arm and Haye will do his back in. During the fight.

Referee technical draw, round 5. :wnk1:

They say the last thing to go on a fighter is his power, well obviously his power is still the same, but one thing that doesnt change about a fighter is his chin, unless he is completly shot, Vitali is the champ. at the top of his game.

How do you know that? He hasn't been caught flush since the Danny Williams fight. Come on, everyone knows that any chin can be cracked no matter how notoriously "cast iron" your beard is - just ask Margarito.

More like, the chin is the first to go.

Having beaten a heavybag in Peter - the most pathetic HW champ of the entire decade.

No. Just, no. That is not a prime Vitali out there, and even his hardcore arselickers have admitted that he's slowed down considerably from his heyday - which was half a decade ago.

Whatever he had before, it's diminished by some margin. How much? We don't know, because he hasn't faced a truly game opponent since before his retirement.

This fight is winnable for Haye. More winnable than a Wlad fight would've been? Not a safe bet, unless Vitali ages overnight. He did look pretty bad in the first round of the Gomez fight, but improved substantially as the fight progresses. Haye's best bet is to jump on him early, with everything he has. May the best man win.

No, the reflexes are the first to go, then the timing. Vitali may not be as sharp as he was 5 years ago, but, but he is certainly good enough to knock out Haye, for Haye this is not a Past his prime Barrett, or a bunch of little Cruiserwieghts, this is a real big super heavywieght who has a lot of punching power and a very solid chin. That spells Haye being carried out on a stretcher
