If pacquiao beats Cotto or goes the distance, Does he have..

to prove anything anymore. I read a post that said Pacquiao needs Mayweather because Mayweather could fight Mosley, Cotto, and Williams after his Marquez fight a Make his Legacy bigger (which we all know it would be a miracle for him to fight even one) and Pacquiao doesn't have options after Cotto. Well to me i feel if Pacquiao retires right now, then he has achieved way more then Mayweather has. But if Pacquiao was to retire on a Cotto win, then he would be a legend with the ATG's that will live on forever.

But my questions are, do you think Mayweather needs Pacquaio or Pacquiao needs Mayweather??? and do you think Pacquiao has already Stamped his legacy?

Pac's legacy is stamped. It's all gravy from here.
    Titles in 6 weight classes
    4 lineal
likely fighter of decade. fought from 106-147 getting better going up.
titles from 112-140 looking better as he went up.
his out of the ring status, his story, the impact he has in his country all make him 1 for the ages.

I believe Thomas Hauser wrote an article about this:

Pacquiao has nothing left to prove... He done a lot in boxing... He can even retire now and still be on top 20 ATG IMO..

agreed...but i also think he needs to take out shane simply for his belt...shane will be a hall of famer...for his legacy's sake...they need to fight...but i'm not really even sure if pac can beat any of them...he sure as hell couldn't beat mayweather...

A clear victory over Marquez would be nice.

Beating the ELEPHANT in thr room a.k.a Floyd would be nice.
