When taking styles into consideration, I think Kelly would struggle the most with the more mobile ones like Ward. The ones who Kelly can hit, he does have a good shot against.

Pavlik is more then capable of beating any one of those fighters... every single one of those six fighters has flaws and I think Pavlik might be the most proven fighter out of them all. He has faced and defeated the harder competition then every one of those fighters up there besides arguably jermain taylor. Abraham and Kessler are both very good i favor kessler over abraham from a technichal standpoint but Abrahams biggest win is over Miranda, who has he really beaten?

1)I don't know that much of Direll so i won't talk about him. I think Pavlik could beat Froch because Froch doesn't have a good defense at all and is a brawler. He's like a Miranda with less KO power. Pavlik would just outfight him.

2)Jermaine Taylor lost twice to Pavlik, so Pavlik has his number.

3)Mikkel Kessler is a complete skilled fighter who got beat by a Calzaghe who gave trouble to B-Hop. So Kessler and Pavlik would have a great war but i see Kessler winning it by being more versatile and disciplined. Kelly is too one dimensional and can't make adjusments, in terms of strategy. Kessler by UD.

4)Andre Ward has nice technique, accuracy and can clinch. Pavlik is more experienced, has good offensive footwork, high workrate hits hard and doesn't stop throwing power punches. Ward never dealt with that kind of fighter. I see Pavlik winning it.

5)Abraham is the fight i wanna see. Abraham has a decent defense, can block punches and land accurate power punches. Pavlik has a better workrate though, probably more physical strenght but his offense make him suceptible to counter attacks. I see it 50/50.

pandas thinking pavlik has only faced two big names (jt and miranda) and lost to old man bhop

panda cant see how that makes pavlik "less flawed" compared to the fighters in the tournament

resume wise jt has the most impressive one

Pavlik beat Taylor a lot easier that Froch did.

I'd pick him over Taylor, that's it. Everybody else would put it on him. **** Pavlik and his couch *****.

Every fighter in the tourney has flaws just like Pavlik has flaws.

Pavlik and Kessler have shown they can get swarmed and mugged up. Abraham and Taylor have stamina/output issues. Direll and Ward still have the most to prove and have not been heart tested. Froch has no defense which may cost him by either getting outboxed or possibly stopped.

So Pavlik would have been a good addition to the tourney I think. Of course Pavlik has it in his head he is too high and mighty now for reasons unknown to me.
