You guys don't see the big picture.
There is no much money in these light divisions. For him to retire decently 6 years from , he needs to fight at the lightweight and welterweight divisions where history gets written. Enough with this 122, progress needs to be made bit by bit.
Having said that, if Caballero wants Lopez he should follow him up and fight with the big boys, he's got the height and will make the weight with no problem.
The only thing that I don't agree with, is him fighting Mtagwa which is #16 and Ponce de Leon established himself as #9 after winning his first fight in such division. But don't get distracted with those ratings cause as an example, many of those only fight in other countries where there is less boxing caliber than in the states.
Gamboa; Rocky Juarez; Chris John; Jorge Linares; They are young boxers in higher divisions whom Juanma could fight in the next years

You definitely have a good point but he is fighting onemore at 122 and he has 6 months left in the year. you can{t tell me he can{t make this fight.

he really is sliping into the chavez jr. realm.. he will have plenty of props if he unifies and then moves up.. just imagine the introductions he would get and the pull.. in my opinion there is not reason why he should not take this fight..

So if Arum told Juanma to not fight Cab its because Arum knows Juanma will lose to Cab otherwise you would grab those belts, only common sense. Arum's been in the game a long time and he knows boxing as well as the next man, he knows the untested young fighter is no match yet for Cab.
