These sort of theories never play out. There are so many factors to take into consideration.

For starters the styles are very different.

ur damn right cotto aint marquez, cotto hits harder is faster way better defense and has a way more lethal attack then marquez. Cotto is A+ fighter, marquez is a A-

Cotto has already faced a bigger faster(arguably)stronger(arguably) South Paw in Zab Judah.

Cotto may not be as fast as Pac Mosley Judah...but he has enough speed and timing to counter effectively.
