Per Micheal Rosenthal who was on the tele-conference with Mayweather:

"Mayweather said a fight against Pacquiao -- the fight most people believe is the biggest possible in boxing -- could happen but won’t if Pacquaio’s promoter, Bob Arum, doesn’t rethink his position.

Mayweather said Arum has offered a 50-50 split of the purse.

'(Arum) knows that’s not going to happen,' he said. '… If Bob wasn’t so greedy, the fight would happen.'"


Anything else buck? Or you dont believe Mayweather either? Will patiently await your well thought out response.

Again, all Mayweather has to do is pay off marquez (as he claims he can and will do) and accept a 50/50 split. Its really not all that hard.

Hey its all good, if Arum is cool with 50-50 then Mayweather should make the fight. I truely think it should be 50-50 but you can also see from Mayweathers point of view, he fought the same guys and more buys. Now what is gonna happen when Mayweather-Marquez does more buys then JMM-Pac II?? oh I know, its because John-Juraez is on the card

I dont think they fight will happen the way it is going so far, Mayweather needs to understand that he is not the champ anymore and he retired on top of that, so I really think if the fight happens he might be suckin less than 50%.

Here is an easy solution, How bout both fighters get 40% before the fight, and the winner gets the extra 20%? IF both fighters seem so confident that they will beat each other than this shouldn't be a problem.

I cant believe anyone has actually bought this ****. By asking for higher purse he's basically saying "I dont want this fight". He's just trying to make himself not look like an ever bigger ***** for duckin Pac than he already looks like fighting a guy who has never fought above lightweight at WW. The day Floyd says this fight will be a 50/50 split i will eat crow and give Floyd all the credit he deserves for getting this fight done! But that **** aint happening!!!

PBF slapped Pacquiao, Arum in the face by saying that there's no way that Pacman can demand not even 50-50 against him. He also slapped JMM in the face by saying that he would buy him off to fight Pacquiao.

Now it's going to be PBF's chance to get slapped because by the end of this week or the begining of the next week Pacman-Cotto will be signed and that will be sending a message (slap bigger than PBF's) loud an clear to PBF that Pacman does not need PBF.

There use to be a time when everybody would drop from any fight just to fight PBF, those days are gone.

I bet you that if JMM was offered to fight Pacman again he will drop PBF.

By the way i'll bet all my points that Cotto-Pacman will sell more than JMM-PBF

this so disrespecful for juan ,floyd said he wants only the best fighters he also said he tough juan beat manny both times then why he wants to figth the looser of the two i would love to see manny turn down maywheter aswell as juan and just leave him whit the only option of figthing mosley
