not really a schooling but ****, i hope that's not his A game.
khan getting schooled in sparring

One round of sparring doesn't show a lot though. Khan could have been tired, and may have been to eager to impress the media in the crowd. I suppose all questions will be answered on Saturday.Comment

Khan does look sloppy, and I'm a little bit worried about him myself now. As Pullcounter said, he needs to slow his tempo, take his time, and pick his shots.

if he listens to roach he will beat kotelnik
by picking his shots and staying on the outside, not over-committing as that is what kotelnik will capitalise on
he shouldnt be looking for a ko or to be really entertaining,he needs to concentrate on just getting the job doneComment

Nope, Urango is a very slow brawler, as long as Khan doesn't get caught, it can be like his fight against Berto all over again. Khan is as fast or maybe faster than Berto, but with less love to spend around clinching. On the other matter, Urango still has his LWW belt and he sure as hell knows that his chances as a WW are slim.Comment

Where does the schooling occur?
He gave some good shots, and he took some good shots. Sparring is supposed to prepare you for the fight, and not be a once sided beatdown.
For all we know that could have been Khans 10th round of sparring. Freddie Roach switches sparring partners after 2-3 rounds so his opponent would have been fresh.
Some people just can't wait to see a young, talented fighter, fail. It's pretty sad that these people call themselves fans of boxing.Comment
