    Joe Calzaghe vs Glenn Johnson

Who wins this battle? Would Johnson give him major problems? Will this be easy work for Joe?

It will never be an easy for, but Joe takes it quite dominant, his too quick for Johnson and he won't gas like we saw Chad did. Calzaghe is just too versatile and too busy, for him. Johnson would tank his way to a dominant loss on the scorecards.
I'm can't see Calzaghe lose to Johnson, I just can't see how it should happen.

In a way Calzaghe would probably do well against plodding, slower come-forward fighter like Johnson but then again he also has gotten into unnecessary brawls in the past, making fights unnecessarily tough for himself. If it's strictly toe-to-toe action, Johnson would do well. If Calzaghe used his movement to go in and out of Johnson's range, he would win a comfortable decision.

Johnson does have a good countering right hand which has given Calzaghe trouble before. In fact all of his knockdowns have been due to counter right hands.

I've always said Calzaghe had the style to beat Johnson, Calzaghe does best against guys who come to him, he can get his punches off from the back foot and Johnson has a habit of waiting until his opponents finish punching before punching back himself, Calzaghe would have popped him with pitty pat shots and turned him by stepping to the side all night. Calzaghe by decision.

This would have been the best fight between old guys!!JC usually outworks most of his opponents!!Johnson is a tough high volume puncher,I actually think the Johnson mentality might lead him to victory!!Because JC flustered Jones and B-Hop with workrate,I see Johnson being right at home throwing 100 punches a round with JC,but I've never seen JC handle that type of fighter!!

Joe ducked Johnson on several occasions...

"My divorce is too painful" was the funniest.
