    Really?

Clottey had Cotto badly cut. He had Cotto in the best position he'll probably ever have had in his career againest Cotto.

Cotto didn't fold and fought back and did a good job at it. Cotto did beat Clottey, but a very small hair.

It's like people want to deny the fact Cotty had a disadvantage in the fight and fought back, and use the excuse he fought "dirty".

Clottey is a big baby for real. He cries worse than a 4 year old.

It was against a top 3 WW ...he fought with 1 eye for 9 rounds...He dropped a stone chinned fighter that was never dropped cept for his pro debut...He managed to win the Championship rounds...changed strategies in the 10th and started to counter punch effectively making Clottey stop throwing because of the left hand scoring.

If your only impressed by 2nd round K.O's that's your fault...I appreciate a close won battle with strategy being fought at the highest skill level in the sport.

Even Clottey admitted that Cotto is a great fighter and a much better fighter then the fighter that gave him his only other loss that wasn't a DQ.

I don't think so, and he certainly didn't beat him in the eyes of those who mattered. That is all that counts, my man.

Every respected boxing writer picked Clottey?...hmmm I guess I'll have to take your word for it...but at least boxingscene begs to differ.

I know that this doesn't mean much to your EVERY RESPECTED BOXING WRITER comment.

Any sources...or do we just have to accept your version of reality?

Dude I don't dispute any of that. My point is that he didn't win any aspect of the fight. I don't think Cotto won more rounds and when Clottey stopped throwing so did Cotto. Cotto was out landed through most of the fight and was forced to retreat. He did step up to the plate with the cut and did the best he could but you shouldn't be awarded the fight due to sympathy. Who is talking about 2nd round KOs? U lost me with that one. All I'm saying is Cotto got out landed in most of the rounds, was not the ring general, nor did he land the cleaner effective punches. I don't think any of that is disputable.

Cotto has a TON more fans on here ( I like Cotto myself) that would vote for him. There is not a Clottey Cartel.
