JMM vs Mayweather is sort of a big fight for boxing. It will beat out UFC 103. The headliner is Dos Santos vs Cro Cop I believe which is not a big fight and from what I've seen it's not their best undercard either. Mayweather vs Marquez should get around 550,000 buys and UFC 103 around 450,000.

I don't care who "wins" the PPV battle though. I'm watching both and will enjoy both.

Highly doubt that. Fedors average of 100,00 PPV buys means no one knows who he is. Anyways, a big time boxing event will always out sell a big time mma event. I don't think even MMA slappies would disagree.

Nah. Fedor sells less than 100,000 ppvs headlining Affliction cards that are as good as any UFC card. When the UFC starts hyping the fight the casual fans will be like "this chubby Russian guy has no chance against Lesnar." Fedor vs Brock won't sell anymore than Brock vs Carwin/Velasquez, even though it's a better fight.

Look at the card it took for UFC to get that number. I'm not taking anything away from it, but they had GSP, Bisping and Brock all on the same card. That essentially takes account 3 HUGE markets in one show. Essentially that would be like putting Paq, Hatton and Cotto one card not fighting each other. Have Paq/JMM 3 (Brock/Mir match.) Hatton can face... IDK Hatton/Diaz for ****s and giggles and then Cotto/Marg or Mosley rematch. That is essentially the caliber of fights UFC had on one card, they won't see numbers anywhere near that for a long, long time. The UFC 103 card looks like total garbage, they could have had all three of their fights as the main event on a solo card. I don't blame them for doing it, I mean it was UFC 100 but numbers won't be that high for quite a while.

As for buying the Mayweather fight... I'm not paying $60(HD) to see two counter punchers go 12 rounds and then win or lose hear Mayweather say he's going to fight Calderon because he's a real threat to Mayweather. I'll save my money for Cotto/Paq or really any other PPV card that Mayweather isn't on.

people who know boxing know that what mayweather is doing is "ART",is not running around..that what boxing is all about hit and dont be hit..mayweather hasnt lost a fight,i mean with lesnar theres nothing u can really say about him..hes big yes and thats all he is..and if someone gets caught hes fu***...but like with most MMA fighters ..they there only for a short term..they come get a bit of fame and after a while u dont hear from them..floyd will be remembered 4ever.
