If Hopkins - Pavlik was the maker, then Hopkins - Dawson would do well and you know it.

Huh, wtf you talking about? Pavlik is a much, much bigger name than dawson. Pavlik going into the fight was one of the best new faces in boxing. The only reason the fight didn't sell extremely well is because no one thought the fight would be close, easy win for pavlik and because of Hopkins' stinker with Calzaghe just months prior.

Its an excuse for Hopkins not to fight him and quite frankly, going by the sells of Hopkins last few fights - i'd say he's taking the piss and full of ****. He doesn't want none!

The man is damn near 45 years old. He's proven himself in the game. To deny that is just plain idiotic. If hopkins wants to retire at age 45, then so be it. If hopkins at 45 doesn't want to fight Dawson and elects to fight someone else for more money, then so be it.
