cant wait for this, gota give alot of respect to all these guys for putting there necks on the line, Keesler wins it for me but AA could be the dark horse here, the man is hard as nails and is fairly skillfull although judging by that video you might not think so looked like a **** with the umberela hat on lol, Froch sadly aint got the skills to win this but he has the heart but Kesslers heart is just as big and he is the bigger man with better skills

SMW has been looking like a really hot division for a few years now

dont worry kess vs dawson will be made im pretty sure of it, and when it does its good night dawson
The offer was made before Froch-Pascal even made or happened. AA wasn't thinking SMW back then, but was thinking more about Pavlik.

SMW has been hot for a few years now??

AA and Taylor just moved into the division this year. Dirrel and Ward were considered as prospect at the start of the year.

Kessler is 30. How long will the tournament take. But the end of the tournament he will be 32. Not exactly young, now is it. Kessler couldn't KO Mundine, yet he will KO Dawson

I like you confidence in Kessler, he doesn't have much self-belief.

Because Dawson thinks he is God's gift to boxing because HBO and his handler's have fed him that crap, that's why.

Infact, Dawson, while a very good boxer, is fighting washed up old fighters in front of tiny crowds in the middle of no where.

bat i agree with alot of your posts and you always seem pretty well informed but i think you're being a little harsh on dawson. i can see why you might think dawson is being hypocritical but he does have a good reason.

at the time of him calling out certain SMW's (kess in particular) he still had the likes of calzaghe and hopkin whom he could have fought at LHW. however their retirement (or ducking in hopkins case) meant that he didn't have any big fights at LHW and was willing to sacrifice more to make the fights with the SMW's.

imo dawson should have tried to make fights with the SMW's at 172 or 173 and if that didn't work out then he should concentrate on the LHW scene. unify the titles and establish yourself as the LHW champ and then when the likes of kess, bute and froch do move up he knows that the will be the guy to fight and will be in a good position at the negotiating table as well.

dawson can no longer make 168 imo, vs tarver he looked alot bigger than before, if he could make 168 before i think he could barely make 172 now.

I think both fighters have almost a slight smirk on their faces. I think Froch is pleased he realises he is bigger than Kessler and Kessler is almost smiling because he now has three big fights lined up!

every blind man and his dog has known that AA has been planning to move to SMW before the froch/pascal fight. bute was a titlist before froch and pascal faced each other and the dawson offer was made. not only that but before the froch vs pascal fight had been made JT had already moved up and fouguht lacy.

now im not sure when dawson made an offer for kess at LHW but if it was t the time of the froch/pascal showdown then SMW was stacked. taylor and bute were already established names in the division, whats more froch/pascal would produce another big name and titlist and other big names like miranda and bika.

lets say for a second that SMW was not stacked with fighters and big names, can anyone begrudge kess's aim of unifying SMW first and then moving onto LHW? its not as though LHW is going anywhere is it?

anyway as for kess vs dawson, you can hold me to that, kess will in by KO if he goes up in weight the right way.

I like Dawson a lot actually. He just makes the strangest career decisions in boxing today.

The negotiations was in march, april this year.

Reasoning with Flawless is futile BTW.
