you know what i think theres alot of sentiment when it comes to bernard and thats fine but when it clouds your judgement then it needs to stop. maybe its because hes from philly, maybe its because he represents the hard working black american male who never had much to begin with or maybe its because we all secretly identify with bernard because hes a fighter with limited physical attirubtes but makes up for it with dedication and knowledge.

bernard is not an ATG, his losses count against him and his best wins are against smaller men and when he did face fighters of equal stature he lost.

Saying Trinidad was much smaller is some hater ****, he proved to be #1 at 154 and #2 at 160 before the fight. He beat the **** out of Joppy.

De La Hoya was either in or just outside the top 10 P4P, Trinidad was #2 or 3. Tarver was top 10, Wright was #5, and Pavlik was #4, 5 or 6. Add that to the 20 title defenses (not to mention his opponents barely won any rounds), doing some of this over 40, and being the best fighter over 40 years old. Hopkins 160 defenses>Calzaghe 168 defenses.

B-Hop isn't top 10 ATG in my book, but he's probably in the top 30 or 40.

yes tito beat joppy. joppy was long time champion at 160 but does 1 good win in a division make one very good at that weight?

That was at 160 and Oscar didn't even look like he took that fight seriously. Hopkins weighed in at the lowest weight in his career and knocked out someone who'd never been knocked out.
