Your argument is flawed because I've never been a Darchinyan fan. He loses when guys have the punching power to get his respect. Mijares and Kirilov didn't. Not that hard to understand. And Vic outweighed Agbeko on fight night. So how does that equate to deserving to be P4P? If he wants to catch some of his shine back he should fight Montiel.
Vic Darchiniyan should not be moved down the P4P list more than one spot.

thank you for saying what i just said
..............i was just throwing out a tidbit.......vic couldnt "move up"(even though he weighed 130lb on the fight) 3 pounds against the weakest title holder.not exactly the definition of "p4p"

Cotto looked like he was getting outclassed from the 6th round on to me, hence the two knees he took. Anyways getting back to the point what is worse a convincing KO loss, or losing a competitive fight against a stronger man?Comment

The later would be worse...but your point is mute because Cotto was removed from the P4P list after his loss to Margarito.Comment

competitive fight.......didnt you score it 8-4???.......
.. its better to lose to margarito(a fringe p4p contender at the time) than to an unproven titleholder.

Cotto loss was worse than vic. Lets look pass the loaded gloves, and we still see Margarito eating all of cotto's shots and backing him back all fight long. Those things had nothing to do with loaded gloves and more to do with Cotto using the wrong game plan. Vic use the wrong game plan going for the KO instead of boxing and was picked apart by the right hand.He got beat but he wasnt completely dominated like most imply. Im just co-signing these guys ecause this same **** will be said to the loser or Cotto/Pac and Marquez/Mayweather. People will label them as Overrated/shot or finished...and **** like that kills boxingComment

Margarito was no where near P4P when he fougth Cotto. Anyways this is about Vic, and he didn't lose in his own weight class.Comment

I like vic but he should've learned that he can't just look to land bombs by now. He drops 5 spots from whereever he wasThe guy took a gamble, moving up yet another weight class to fight a tough as nail opponant with an iron chin, and he just came up a little short. It was a competitive fight, and even though he lost by a wide margin, he was always in the fight and gave it 110%. It is not as if he lost to someone in his own weight division. King Kong is a beast, and was being overlooked by most. Anyways fighters have lost in humiliating fashion before to weak competion, and have quit not to be moved down much the P4P list, and I do not think Vac should have to suffer for daring to be great, and conquering yet another weight class.
Even thought I was behing Agbeko, and chose him to win I realize that Vic is a warrior, and should not be moved down more than one or two places on the list.Comment

your getting too caught up on numbers. Those 8 rounds were competitive but in clearly won in agbecko's favor. Cotto got Dominated from the 6 round on.Comment

no one is saying theyre overrated, but unless you lose competetively against a consensus p4p'er, you dont get to saty in the rankings, especially if you were the favorite and were just a fringe p4p'er....Cotto loss was worse than vic.
