Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards. Lewis was badly hurt and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round and was hurt again later in the fight.

    punches landed

    Vitali 156

    Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted and worn down from the accumulation of punches, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission that night and would've KO'd Lewis if the fight had continued.

Lewis turned down 25 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew Vitali would destroy him and tarnish his legacy.

Lennox Lewis was almost 38 years old and way past his prime. The klitschkos are great but they are not as great as Lennox Lewis who have a much better resume.

Lewis was 37 when he got beat up by Vitali

Vitali is 38 and is still dominating, he came back after a 4 year layoff.

Lennox was ALMOST 38 years old and he was PAST HIS PRIME yet he still beat a PRIME Vitali Klitschko.

PAST PRIME Lennox Lewis TKO 6 PRIME Vitali Klitschko

Vitali klitschkos resume doesnt come close to Lennox Lewis's resume and neither does Wlads.

No, Lennox is not the last. It is clear that both Vitaliy and Wladimir will be considered ATG heavyweights after completion of their careers. The more time goes by, the clearer this becomes.

Vitali was the real winner of that fight, he battered Lewis into retirement, all 20,000 people at staples center cheered for Vitali and boo'd Lewis after the fight.

I lost a lot of respect for Lewis when he retired like a coward.

still doesnt change the fact that Lennox Lewis was PAST PRIME and did INFACT beat Vitali Klitschko, i dont give a **** about who the people cheered for or who won the most rounds. Lennox Lewis WON, he BEAT Vitali Klitschko and thats a FACT.

nope he never did get respect from americans and he never will which is a shame and no he is not a legend in the states. Legend's do not get hated on like Lennox Lewis. for me and im shure all europeans and non-americans Lennox Lewis is a legend and an ATG you americans obviously havent realised this. Americans NEVER cheered, respected or liked Lennox Lewis and thats because you are to xeno phobic and ultra nationalistic to ever do that to non-american fighters.

he never retired like a coward! He beat vitali in 6 rounds, fights are 12 rounds not 6 so shut the **** up you phoney, bandwagonjumping piece of ****.go suck dimitrenkos nuts since you said he was the next great thing then you **** on him when he got beat.lewis was fat, coming off a year long party after beating Tyson & fought vitali on 2 weeks notice & still vitali lost.he didn't owe him nothing.it was his worse payday in 10 years & vitali offered him nothing.vitali was still shaking the quitter label.that's all vitali will be remembered for.the ***** I see was vitali ducked Rahman, maskaev & decided to retire instead of fighting the best so don't give me that **** that he forced lewis to retire.lewis retired at 39.if vitali is so great why did he retire at what 33? So go put your vitali bitchko panties on & jerk off to your vitali pictures you clown.remember lewis beat everyone he fought & vitali couldn't beat an old lewis & he quit vs Byrd.Quitter......that's all he is & retired at 33 because he didn't want to fight any of the top guys so who is the *****? He claims injury! Suck it up you *****.danny Williams didn't quit with a worse injury.he fought with 1 arm & won.that's a man not like that ***** vitalia!
