Did you know that you don't HAVE to marry somebody? No ****. You can actually leave somebody if they're too abusive. She's just as much to blame for taking the abuse. Why in the **** would she strangle a man in his sleep and then beat him to death? That is actually sick.. it's outside of the realm of the typical "crime of passion".. She tried to cover it all up. Most of these cases end up with the lover killing themselves or turning themselves in once they come to their senses, but this woman would have went on with her life if she could have. Now that's just a sign of somebody with severe mental issues.

If Gatti did beat her up, like it was reported on BS a while back, and if he did argue with her and throw her down to the street in public, and cause injuries to her arm and chin, i can damn near promise you, that this was not the second time this thing has happened. On top of that he got a taxi ride home and left her to walk, that is some ******* **** to do....

My dad used to whoop the **** out of my mom..... This isnt just something that happens once and that is it.... This is a constant and chronic problem that people have.... My mom flipped just like Gatti's wife, and broke my dad's ribs....

And sometimes, as in this case, she couldnt take anymore.... People have a limit... Seems like there were some skeletons in the closet.....

Its like a kid in school that gets picked on by a bully constantly.... Finally, they have enough... Thats what I think happened here....

Abusive relationships usually have women so scared that they are even scared to do anything that would even probably cause their husband to get mad.....

And then throw the child aspect.... You dont think that he would have been even more mad about that.....

I understand that she could have left, but IF he was beating her (his past shows that he has done it before to other women and her), do you not think that she would have been scared to even mention something about her leaving??

Its not like, "I'm leaving and taking our kid", and he responds "No problem, go ahead".....

This whole situation is just sad and ****ed up. Gatti, like numerous other fighters, unable to limit his violence to the prize ring and beating up women. Dying at the hands of his wife.

Gatti did some bad things and was no saint, but I separate the man from the athlete. He was a very exciting fighter to watch and it's sad that he died in this manner rather than being able to get his life together and killing his demons.
