Gatti and Corrales, two stalwart warriors.

There have been several letters forecasting the potential winner of a matchup between Gatti and Corrales. I think there's no doubt that Corrales would "wipe the floor" with Gatti, assuming that both would have been at their best.

We read every day about boxers getting into almost every kind of trouble available, and, in at least 90% of the cases, it seems to me, a huge component is always alcohol or drugs, often both.

Both of the above warriors were "boozed up" when they met their sad ends, and very likely would both be still with us if they'd been sober.

We should all take a good lesson from these tragedies.
