If it was her, which I aint jumping to conclusions... that's just low, I mean I don't know what they were arguing about and who was to blame... or why Gatti pushed her to the floor... but it still isn't a reason for him to die.

For all we know he could have been annoyed when drunk and just snapped for a second, or she could have started doing **** to him so he did it in defense but nobody knows. It still isn't a reason for him to be murdered though if she did it.

It could have still been a third party... it isn't impossible that somebody would have climbed through a window to get into his room... I mean we have heard of some even crazier **** before so I am just saying it could of happened.

The former junior welterweight champion was apparently strangled with the strap of a purse, which was found at the scene with blood stains, said Milena Saraiva, a spokeswoman for the Pernambuco state civil police. She told The Associated Press that the Canadian also had a head injury.

The investigation was not complete, but Saraiva said authorities were preparing to present a formal accusation against Rodrigues, who denied being involved in her husband's death.

Police said Rodrigues, a Brazilian, could not explain how she spent nearly 10 hours in the room without noticing that Gatti was already dead.

Police were investigating witness reports that the couple fought and Gatti was drunk when he returned to his room Friday night, Saraiva said, adding that police were told the pair were extremely jealous of each other and that he constantly complained of her clothing when she traveled to Brazil.

Gatti didn't deserve to die.

But women don't deserve to be abused. And Gatti had a reported history of raising his hands to them.


It's pretty rare a woman resorts to this, but if men would treat their women with respect generally as a rule, it would happen even less.





What a sad story. Whatever went on in this relationship -- and none of us know, so let's not act like we do -- Gatti was a good guy, really. Too good to be shoving the mother of his kid around.

I agree with you to a certain point, women should be treated with respect, but there are some evil women, many frustrated (by their past) and problematic woman (there are some men like that also) but as you said we dont really know, for what i understand your post is about gatti being a women abuser, and that may be true, but maybe the wife is a terrible ***** as well.

Stab wound to the back of the head but it didn't kill him so she strangled him to death when he was drunk and asleep. What a cruel way to die.. The ***** was probably abused .. I'm not saying she had it easy.. But people should seriously learn when it's time to leave each other.. That way this **** don't happen. I hope she get life in prison.
