Can't say I'm totally surprised. Though I thought it was for different reasons. I was working all day today when all of a sudden my phone started blowing up with phone calls, and text messages regarding his death.
I've known Arturo for years. Arturo was one hell of a fighter. When he said that he was willing to die in the ring he meant that literally. The boxing world has lost one of their greatest warriors. He was a great guy that loved life. A little too much sometimes, but over all he had a good heart, and loved his children. Regardless of the reasons of whoever killed him, he didn't deserve it. I'm very saddened by this.

This past Wednesday night at a strip Club, Police finally caught up with Gatti and arrested him. Gatti reportedly was celebrating his 37th Birthday at the strip club.

Conditions of his bail release reportedly have Gatti promising not to consume drugs or alcohol. He must also stay away from his ex-girlfriend as well as her son."


This is most likely the same chick who they believe killed him.

I don't know what kind of person Gatti was but they probably had a pretty violent relationship. "IF" she killed him I wonder what he did to make her do it.

Well I did know Arturo, and I didn't want to say anything negative. He definitely had some serious issues. He really went down hill in the past few years. He really was a nice guy, but I was never in a relationship with him. As a friend he was great. As a boyfriend.. well.. lets just say that I never envied any of his ex's.
