Acelino Freitas who was a close friend to gatti did tell the brazilian reporters that they were having some sort of problem and about to seperate but didnt even know they were in Brazil. The weirdest thing tho is that they say he appeared to be dead already for about 8 hours... Im going to go with my on theory and say it was a mob hit considering Gatti was going to trial to testify against New York State Athletic commission in a lawsuit this week.

I agree with you. It has nothing to do with Brazil. I'm Italian Brazilian, and I have a lot of family there. I've been there several times. To say that white people don't belong there is just ignorant. Obviously he's never been to Brazil. There's so many different nationalities that live there. The fact is that it happened in Brazil. It has nothing to do with the country.

RIP Gatti. You know,it's sad that this happened to him,as it did to McNair,but,both of these guys did something to provoke their deaths. I'm not condoning them being murdered,but,we have NO clue what goes on in the inside of these relationships. All we see is what the media presents to us. We're not intimites to know all. I thought I had read that Gatti had gotten arrested before for spousal abuse. As for Mcnair,if he had been home with his wife and kids,instead of F'ing around with some other woman,he'd still be alive.Yeah,these guys brought us many hours of entertainment,but,please,let's not make them out to be gods...
