I loved watching Gatti fight. Probably my favorite fighter of all time. I am suprised at how sad I am about his passing. The world lost something great.

BoxingScene.com has received numerous reports coming out of Brazil that former champion Arturo Gatti was found dead in a condo he was renting in Pernambuco, Brazil on Saturday. Globo Esporte, affiliated with one of the largest television stations in Brazil, is reporting that Gatti was found by his wife Amanda when she woke up in the condo. He appeared to have been struck by some type of object to the back of head. Police are investigating the matter. [details]
