I'm no fan of Floyd as of late but "beating his last two opponents easier" is not the whole story. What matters is Floyd got to them first and beat them. How Manny handled Hatton was very impressive, but the DLH fight well, DLH looked like a corpse before the fight even began. DHL at least had some life in him when he fought Floyd.

Styles also have to be considered. Floyd is not a brawler. He is a technician so most of his fights will not look devastating. He is calculating and takes his time.
