    or GSP

    or Fitch

    or Bisping

    or Alves

    or Henderson

    or Thiago

    or Sexyama.

Please don't gauge on who ESPN follows. The last time people did that, the dude got knocked out by a pink haired Light Heavyweight who jumped in hours before the event happened.

Sure whatever you say, you and about 3 other dudes believe that. Like I said before if it wasn't for Lesnar this would get less than half of the buys that it's going to get.

Agreed. UFC unfortunately is starting to take over and I'm a die hard boxing fan and always will be. I won't buy a UFC Pay Per View but I watch some fights occassionally such as GSP or A. Silva but overall I'm not much of a fan but unfortunately this is what younger kids are starting to watch not boxing. I don't know many people under 18 who are big boxing fans but there are a lot who are UFC fans. This is where things are headed and after the last generation of die hard boxing fans, I just don't see boxing doing bigger numbers than UFC unless a lot of things change. We need more boxing gyms so that young kids will take to boxing instead of mma or other sports. The problem with boxing is not talent right now, we all know that boxing is a higher skill level of striking by far. The problem is there are too many damn people involved with boxing. What I mean is promotional companies, managers, advisors, networks, sanctioning bodies, etc. It takes almost an act of God to get some fights made. Too many greedy hands. Even if you despise UFC or Dana White you can't deny they do one hell of a job promoting and getting their name out there. Plus if there's a fight that should be made, it's made, period. It's on TV all the time. Clothing lines, stickers, etc. They advertise brilliantly while boxing has a promotional tour for a big fight and some advertising but it's mostly over internet sites like BS while UFC is always promoting. They are doing so many things well while boxing is getting more corrupt. Boxing needs to change but there are too many hands in the cookie jar, unfortunately, to make that happen anytime soon. I hate it because IMO boxing is head and shoulders above mma. To me there is nothing better than watching two highly skilled boxers in the ring. It's a shame that the people involved with boxing refuse to do anything about it.

you do realize that ufc generally sells about 600-700k ppv buys each show right?

Its a great card, I'm definitely getting it. I'm a fan of both and don't understand the rivalry between fan of both sports. Competition is good people, we all benefit when promoters fight for our money.

                    or Sexyama.
All good fighters, but GSP is the only one who sells PPVs. Once the rest of america gets a taste of Sexyama it will be different, but now it's only GSP.

nowadays bars are more likely to have ufc ppv than boxing ppv.

                      ufc is becoming mainstream.
