at 140 - DLH beats bradley, campbell, JMM and hatton.

but imo hed lose to paman, pacman is a southpaw and DLH never did too well against them (see his performance vs sweet pea).

at 147 - i think DLH would beat berto and collazo handily. i think DLH vs cotto, clottey and SSM would be close fights, clottey would be a tough fight and if DLH does what he did in the tito fight again hed lose it, but if he boxes as well as we know he can he'd get the decision. i think he'd take cottos left hook and his handspeed wuld win him the fight and vs SSM i think DLH would simply have just a bit too. the hardest fight for DLH out of cotto, clottey and SSM would be SSM, then clottey and then cotto.

vs mayweather at 147 i think DLH would lose and lose by UD.

at 154 - i see DLH beating cintron, angulo and kirkland. cintron wouldn't be able to KO DLH and would fold when DLH comes on strong, angulo is a little too green and DLH's handspeed would be too much. kirkland is open for the right hand and doesn't seem to be able to adjust or adapt but i think DLH might be in trouble a few times in this fight but i fancy him to pull through.

as for williams (again a southpaw) i think DLH would again lose by UD, williams jab, combos and workrate would be too much

He beats Angulo but loses to Pwill at 154

really? imo pacs handspeed and southpaw stance would be too much for DLH

In his prime he does not lose to Pac at 140. As improved as he is as a boxer Pac is still a power puncher, albeit an extremely fast one but still a power puncher. De La Hoya would be too big, too strong, and too good a boxer to be beat by Pac.

Oscar would do very well against current fighters. All except Mayweather. Mayweather's style is a loss for basically everyone. You have to be like Bernard Hopkins, in order to beat Mayweather.
the guy isn't invincible, a prime ODLH beats Mayweather, so does Vargas, Trinidad, and maybe quartey.

DLH pretty much schools everyone except SSM (if we're talking about prime SSM) and Mayweather

Oscar was pretty sharp at 140 - a fight between he and Pac would've been incredible at that weight. Really a toss-up IMO.

At 147, I'd like him to beat Cotto, Clottey, Berto...I guess that's it. Not Mosley (obviously) and he'd struggle bad against Williams & Margarito.

i see where you're coming from and even listening to pac he does seem like a power puncher - i remember in the build up to the hatton fight he was saying how he prefers to go tow-to-toe. now vs a prime DLH at 140 that would be nigh on ****** but i do think that DLH struggles alot against southpaws.

vs valero he got a black eye and this was at the start of training camp so you can't argue that he was weight drained then, he struggled with him through the camp and eventually valero was kicked out!! a prime DLH struggled with a washed up sweet pea as well!!

ultimately i think pacman would get tagged at some point in the fight but he can box clever when he wants to and his southpaw stance and constant bobbing and moving would make him a tough target

the fact that a prime odlh would and could beat all of the fighters mentioned, is true... but i don't think dlh would fight any of these fighters while THEY were in there prime, or didn't have some kind of advantage over them!!!!
