hit the nail on the head my manimagine fighters like SRR figuring in a series of fights against fellow ATGs & HOFs? as often as every month at least?
thats the reason why i think these old skool fighters will remain up there...
fighting the top opposition more than once & significantly more frequently than the busiest elites right now...Comment

Well 95% of the posters should wipe their bottoms & get off the toilet.. If you're not aware, then start off by trying to ring the bell at a fairground punch ball..95% of the posters here haven't seen him fight, and only go by word of mouth/heresay or old ESPN classic fights with terrible quality
We only say he was the greatest because that is what we are supposed to say. Truth is, no one knows for sure if his fighting acumen would have transitioned to today's game.
Greatest ever is all relative, its easier not to engage in the argument I supposeComment

There's more than enough footage to make up an educated opinion about Robinson's abilities. If you don't like what you're seeing, that's fine, but atleast make the effort to watch a couple of his fights before commentating.
Most boxers today haven't even had 50 fights, so watching 50 Robinson films should be enough.Comment

SRR is undisputedly the greatest fighter ever, people who doubt his greatness have absolutely no idea what they are talking aboutComment

im a big floyd fan, but SRR beats him handily at WW
If he were to fight Hagler and Hop at MW...depends which version of SRR, the younger MW version before his first retirement would probably win or lose a close decision, the older version probably losesComment

SRR also beat Pernell Whitaker at 147. He'll also beat JCC at 147, I'm sure you know where I'm going with this. SRR was a HUGE WW, ofcourse he'd beat Mayweather.Comment
